2 weeks ago, I woke up with Radial Nerve Palsy. I’m completely unable to lift my wrist!:
I’m thankful that it’s my left wrist. Had it been my right hand, life would be very difficult! Not being able to use my left hand (for the most part) limits me in several things so it’s really, mostly a nuisance. This condition is likely to last for several months and could take up to a full year for full recovery, as long as it’s not permanent.
That said, I thought I’d be unable to continue to play pool, which has been my passion and my social circle lately. A friend from the pool league, Jose, has encouraged me to keep playing using a bridge for every shot – which is doable, but cumbersome. He then came up with a creative custom fist bridge for me to use. From that initial concept, we’ve come up with a very useful pool accessory for pool players that have “bridge limitations”. If accepted by the league for me to play using this custom bridge, we might actually have a marketable product! And if so, we’ll want to pursue a promotional video, and I told Jose, “I know a guy!”
Jose had originally pointed me to this SureShot. It didn’t work for me. So that’s what got the ball rolling. This promotional video for SureShot is kinda lame. If we pursue marketing this, it’d be nice to get some video/pics of me actually using it in pool play early in its development phase, which I hope to do this Tuesday evening, and in a pool tournament this next weekend – Saturday/Sunday. Just wanted to see if you would have any interest in participating in this effort.
